• Pre-Sessional EAP Instructor. Taught subject-specific pre-sessional EAP courses in academic reading and writing for international students entering postgraduate degrees. In 2020 taught online using Microsoft Teams and Moodle.

Sir Sandford Fleming College, Peterborough, ON, Canada (2014−2017, 2019)

• Professor, Professional Communications. Developed curriculum and piloted new course in business communication, designed to support students in postgraduate certificate and diploma programs in the School of Business.

• EAP Instructor (part-time/occasional). Designed and delivered classes in core skills, English for Science, English for Tourism and Hospitality, and Study Skills.

• Curriculum Designer. Wrote initial curriculum for ESL Bridge program, primarily for students entering courses in applied sciences, ICT, business and more.

Trent University, Peterborough and Oshawa, ON, Canada (2001−2012) 

• Curriculum Coordinator, Trent-ESL. Led development of curriculum for six-level general EAP program accredited by Languages Canada. Curriculum focused on language and study skills, with specialized courses in English for Business, English for ICT and University Transition. Provided academic leadership to team of 15–20 instructors. Responsible for administrative tasks, e.g., placement testing, class lists, book orders.

• EAP Instructor, Trent-ESL Program. Specialized in advanced-level EAP, including critical reading, academic writing, research and documentation, note-taking and seminar discussion.

• Instructor, Trent University Academic Skills Centre. Provided instruction in writing and study skills for domestic and international students.
